Chinese man joins Anti-Mugabe protest with placards written in Chinese

A Chinese national in Zimbabwe has been spotted taking part in street protests calling on President Robert Mugabe to quit.

The man was photographed carrying a placard inscribed Peace, Freedom Democracy a Long was to go" while another is written in Chinese.

There are many Chinese nationals in the country who run various small scale business.

President Mugabe's wife Grace has a degree in Chinese.
