Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services Chris Mushowe on Monday summoned the British Ambassador to Zimbabwe Catriona Lang to be quizzed on claims that two British spies, Samuel Adamson and Gordon Birnie sneaked into the country early this month.
The interrogation is taking place at Munhumutapa building in Harare, which also houses President Robert Mugabe's official offices.
The Sunday Mail reported of two UK spies, Adamson and Birnie, entering the country on the 5th of September "on a mission to review the civil disturbances that occurred in Harare, Bulawayo and Beitbridge in July/August."
It is believed that the two who are said to be members of a Specialised Unit trained to engineer civil unrest in nations where the British seek to depose sitting governments.
