Suspect - Samson Matakure
Mvurwi carpenter Samson Matakure is alleged to have killed his cheating wife's lover after catching them pants downs at Talent farm in Concession, Mashonaland Central province in the early hours of today (Friday)
When contacted for comment Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Milton Mundembe said police are still at the scene and investigations were still in progress.
Eye witnesses allege Matakure came home to find his wife and the victim at it on their matrimonial bed.
The wife, Sharon Kamuzati, managed to escape before Mutakure struck the deceased with a log on the head.
Meanwhile, Matakure is currently on the run and his mobile phone is not reachable.
Cases of murder have become the order of the day in Mashonaland Central.
