State in no show for MDC-T police murder suspect bail hearing
01 Dec 2011 at 08:31hrs | Views
The bail hearing for Solomon Madzore, the MDC-T Youth Assembly chairperson has been moved to High Court judge, Justice Maria Zimba Dube's chambers after the State prosecutor Edmore Nyazamba failed to come to court.
The case was to be heard this morning with Nyazamba submitting his response but this was not possible forcing Justice Dube to move the matter to her chambers once Nyazamba is available. Nyazamba was reported to have attended some business at the Supreme Court.
Madzore is part of 28 MDC-T activists who are facing charges of murdering a police officer in Glen View in May this year.
Most of the activists have since been granted bail.
