Zimbabwe Republic Police today summoned Dr Patson Dzamara to Harare Central Police Station.
Dzamara said he received the call while attending Linda Masarira's bail court appearance.
"I attended court this morning and one of the cases was adjourned to the 10th of October. Will be going back at 2.15pm to appear for the other case" he posted on his official facebook page.
"Meanwhile, I have received a call to report at the police station. Not sure what they need me for. I will go after my court appearance at 2.15pm. At the moment I am attending Lynda Tsungie Masarira 's bail application hearing at the High Court. The good news is that the judge has ruled that she must be released. This is sweet victory for us. Pharaoh must fall".
In a later update he said "On a different issue, I have consulted with my lawyers and will be going to the police tomorrow with a lawyer. it is well".
Last week, Dzamara teamed up with Pastor Evan Mawarire in New York and scores of Zimbabweans and staged a series of demonstrations against President Robert Mugabe.
