Government sponsoring violence - War veterans

Government sponsored violence is now the way of life and investigations should be done, Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans' Association secretary-general Victor Matemadanda has said.
Matemadanda who is accused of insulting President Robert Mugabe said violence instigates by Government through Zanu PF is worring.
"Violence perpetrated by whoever is public enemy number one because by its nature violence knows no boundary if it becomes a way of life."
He added "When it is said to be perpetrated by the ruling party, then that becomes even more dangerous because government must protect all its citizens".
He said investigations should be done to ascertain who is behind the violence.
On Monday, Zimbabwe Human Rights Association (ZimRights) said Zanu PF activists were behind the commotion that engulfed the central business district.
Scores of people got injured.
