ConCourt embarrass Joyce Mujuru

The Constitutional Court dismissed Zimbabwe People First interim leader Joyce Mujuru's bond notes case on the basis that it is premature and speculative, ZBC has reported.

Mujuru was   challenging the introduction of bond notes which are due in circulation in October.

She will foot the   cost of the application.

Chief Justice Godfrey Chidyausiku granted Mujuru's request for an urgent application which she filed in August.

Bond notes are facing resistance from the business sector and the public.

However, the central bank insists that mo one would be forced to use the bond notes.
