Nothing credible will come from Zanu PF - analyst

A political analyst Vince Musewe has said there is nothing credible that the nation should expect from the ruling Zanu PF in terms of the electoral processes considering its history of suspected rigging of elections.
"We cannot rely on this Zanu PF system to do anything credible and in pursuit of national interest. It's not in their DNA. I am therefore amused that there is a growing call to register to vote under the current Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) which we are saying is not credible," he said.
"We need fundamental transformation of the system first to attain any confidence that information cannot be manipulated. National Transitional Authority (NTA) seeks to do just that."
He said NTA is meant to be a citizens driven initiative to deal with pressing issues of debt liquidity welfare food security police brutality corruption NOW not tomorrow not in 2018.
"Zanu PF cannot reform," he said.
