Mugabe to faces MP protests

Opposition members of parliament are reportedly planning to stage protests against President Robert Mugabe when he makes a rare public appearance today.

Mugabe is due to open the fourth session of the eighth Parliament in Harare.

MPs plan to walk out of the house when Mugabe (92) is about to read his speech.

However, Bulawayo24.com heard on Wednesday evening that some MPs have received threatening messages if they take part in the protest.

As per tradition Mugabe is set to arrive in his famous Rolls Royce.
