The arrest of fraud accused cabinet minister Jonathan Moyo is work of people bent on destabilising the government, acting Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko has claimed.
Mphoko lashed out at unnamed government officials whom he claimed 'wanted to cause a scene' by not following procedures.
Mphoko told Mpopoma residents that government will deal with people who issued the arrest order.
According to Mphoko, Moyo was being targeted by people who wanted to get rid of President Robert Mugabe's "most trusted officials".
Moyo is accused of benefitting from close to $270 000 which was corruptly syphoned out of Zimdef by ministry and fund official.
Part of the money was used to procure bicycles for chiefs in Tsholotsho.
