Workers at the crisis ridden Zimbabwe Manpower Development Fund (Zimdef) are facing massive retrenchments as the body is undergoing financial constraints.
Zimdef falls under Higher Education ministry.
Minister Jonathan Moyo and his deputy Godfrey Gandawa raided the coffers and got away with over $430 000 of Zimdef funds.
Reports indicate that 60 workers would be affected despite the organization collecting $3.6 million monthly.
Its wage bill is below $200 000.
Workers have since been notified of the retrenchments.
