Higher Education minister Jonathan Moyo who is accused of corruption involving over half a million dollars siphoned from the Zimdef has leaped to call for villagers defence saying the rural fellows were in a better position to say if he abused the funds.
Moyo said this through tweeter.
"People of Tsholotsho will be right to interpret this to mean supporting their traditional leaders is an abuse of funds," he said.
The anti-corruption commission has exposed that Moyo and other officials in the ministry might have swindled government of hundreds of thousands of dollars on unclear circumstances.
