Mudenda tells Mugabe off

Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda has exposed President Robert Mugabe's abuse of state power as he refused to investigate the Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission.
When news of Higher Education minister Jonathan Moyo's corruption allegations filtered through two weeks ago, Mugabe blocked his arrest.
Instead he quickly appointed a committee chaired by Mudenda to look into Zaac allegations.
However, Mudenda has stood his ground and told Mugabe off.
"We are not going to investigate Zacc and our terms of reference do not, in any way, make reference to the commission,".
"I am aware and everyone is aware that we cannot investigate Zacc. It would be unconstitutional and we have neither mandate nor authority to do that" declared Mudenda.
