A rape case against Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance (PHD) leader Walter Magaya is slowly crumbling after a Harare magistrate removed all bail conditions.
Magaya was arrested in August on allegations of raping a former congregant.
Today, Harare magistrate Vakayi Chikwekwe set aside all remaining bail conditions and Magaya is due back in court on November 15.
According to court papers, the complainant - a 25 year old Masters in Marketing student used to be a congregant at Magaya's PHD ministries.
She allegedly accepted an invitation from the preacher to visit him and was shown around the house.
Magaya allegedly left the woman in a room inside the house and returned later, naked.
It was alleged that Magaya then raped the woman once.
After the sexual encounter, Magaya gave her $200 and she later reported the matter to her boyfriend in July last year.
