Man burns mother's hut over a goat

A 27-year-old Zimunya man - Brighton Munapeyi burnt down his mother's hut and threatened to stab her over a goat dispute.
Munapeyi's mother was identified as Margret Chaambwa aged 50.
The court heard that the pair had a misunderstanding over a goat that Munapeyi had slaughtered without his mother's permission.
Munapeyi was only blocked from assaulting his mother by his sister.
On the night in question, Munapeyi reportedly set ablaze his mother's one-roomed thatched bedroom.
