ZimPF member threatened by Zanu PF Chairman in Mhondoro

Mhondoro Ngezi ward 6 Zanu PF Chairman Ephraim Chengeta has reportedly threatened the ZimPF member Kizito Chiya accusing him of mobilising villagers to question Zanu PF councillor's activities in the ward.
Heal Zimbabwe Trust reported that on 15 October 2016, during a sports tournament at Masindisindi Primary school, Zanu PF ward Chairman, Ephraim Chengeta threatened Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) member, Kizito Chiya.
"He accused him of mobilising villagers to question why Zanu PF Councillor, Peter Matore was overcharging villagers by asking them to pay $5 every time he distributed food from the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare. Chengeta openly threatened Chiya with death and warned him against supporting ZimPF," said the trust.
"On 20 October 2016, upon return from his garden, Chiya discovered that one of his house had been set ablaze and his major suspect is Ephraim Chengeta. He reported the matter at Mamina police station but no arrests have been made so far."
