Mugabe turns against Jonathan Moyo?

President Robert Mugabe says the Zanu PF party will not protect anyone found to be corrupt irrespective of their position in the party or government.
Mugabe said this when he officially opened Murongwe Primary School and clinic in Mukumbura Mount Darwin this Thursday.
Jonathan Moyo Moyo is currently under fire for allegedly abusing over $400 000 from the Zimbabwe Manpower Development Fund (Zimdef).
The Tsholotsho North MP recently escaped arrest after the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (Zacc) swooped on him over the alleged abuse in which his deputy, Godfrey Gandawa, and other ministry officials have also been implicated.
The minister accuses the anti-graft body of being used by a faction in Zanu PF to victimise him. At the weekend, more allegations emerged against the minister, with investigators now looking at some "questionable transactions" involving more than $1,5 million.
Addressing thousands of people who turned up for the official opening of Murongwe Primary School and Clinic, President Mugabe said government departments and individuals fingered in alleged corrupt practises as reported in the media will not be spared but should be given an opportunity to defend themselves in court.
Turning to the development of infrastructure at Murongwe in Mount Darwin, the President thanked the Commander Air Force of Zimbabwe Air Marshall Perence Shiri for the projects which transformed grass thatched pole and dagga makeshift structures to state-of-the-art institutions through the Air Force of Zimbabwe Charity Fund.
He expressed disappointment at the leadership in Mashonaland Central province for failing to identify development anomalies in the Dande Valley despite the area having suffered the brunt of the liberation struggle.
President Mugabe described the recent failure by Zanu PF to retain the Norton parliamentary seat as a disastrous mistake that should not be allowed to happen again.
