Corruption is rife within the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) as it has so far handled 34 corruption-related cases this year.
Board secretary and director for legal and corporate services Florence Jambwa Business said since January 2016 to date, 34 have been dealt with.
"Out of these cases, six people were dismissed, 14 were given written warnings, 13 cases are still pending and one case was withdrawn," she said.
Commissioner-General Gershem Pasi is already on suspension on a string of corruption charges.
Pasi, once said to be among the highest paid executives in the country, was sent on paid leave, together with five executive managers by the ZIMRA board.
The others are Charlton Chihuri (Director Loss control) Anna Mutombodzi (Customers and Exercise) Sithokozile Mrerwa (Director Human Resources and Administration) Tjiyapo Velempini (Director Infrastructure and Development), Clive Majengwa (Director Internal Audit).
Just last week three more senior officials were suspended for alleged misconduct.
Robert Mangwiro, Shadreck Dimingo and Truenia Dimingo were suspended after being implicated for misconduct in a recent audit report.
