Headmaster dies in his sleep

The headmaster of Alaska Mine High in Mashonaland West passed away in his sleep on Monday night.

Obedia Mushamba was 64 year old.

He is survived by his wife Violet, five children and four grandchildren.

His son Lloyd Mushamba confirmed the death.

Sengweni, a teacher at Alaska high, said A'Level and O'Level students who were sitting for their final Zimsec exams in Business Studies and Maths respectively yesterday were very distraught and it took the school authorities an hour to calm them down.

He said some candidates cried and soaked their answer sheets.

Mushamba will be buried tomorrow at Chemagamba Cemetery in Chinhoyi.
