Pressure is mounting on Local Government minister and Zanu-PF national commissar Saviour Kasukuwere over shoddy land deals involving Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya.
On Wednesday, more than 300 Goromonzi farmers staged a protest against him accusing him of selling Chishawasha B land for residential settlement to Magaya.
President Robert Mugabe recently confronted Kasukuwere over the Magaya land saga but he denied the accusations.
Chishawasha B falls under Goromonzi Rural District.
However, according to state run Herald, protesting farmers produced offer letters signed by Goromonzi district administrator a Mr H Mandizvidza and district lands officer a Mr WF Bika in 2010.
The land was set aside for farming purposes.
Chairwoman of Grace Mugabe district in Chishawasha B, Nhamo Jeke said Mugabe should intervene.
"It is our humble appeal that the President should intervene in this matter.
"We strongly believe that there are some people who are lying to him because we are not illegal occupants of this land as we are in possession of the relevant paperwork.
"I fail to understand the logic behind dishing out all the land towards residential stands as if people do not want to eat".
Other farmers accused Kasukuwere of "killing the party".
