President Robert Mugabe, who is also the First Secretary of Zanu PF says the inclusive government is illegitimate, unconstitutional and has outlived its purpose.

Mugabe was addressing the Zanu PF Central Committee in Harare, ahead of the 12th annual National People's Conference to be held in Bulawayo.

He urged party members to be ready for the conference in Bulawayo so as to deal with challenges facing the party and the country.

Mugabe said it is time the inclusive government is disbanded, adding that the constitution making process should be finalised to pave way for elections next year.

He said the 2008 elections produced a political arrangement which is illegal and unconstitutional.

"It's a joy ride that some people are having on this chariot called the GPA. They have not been chosen by anyone but we agreed that because our elections didn't go well in 2008, let's use some political mechanism that will bring those who won and those who didn't get a single vote together.

"If you look at the riders on the chariot, you will establish that some of them no one voted for them, but they are championing the chariot. Surely, after Christmas, they should not be allowed to have another Christmas," said President Mugabe.

On indigenisation and economic empowerment, President Mugabe said there is no going back on the land reform programme and the government is now focusing on indigenising other sectors such as mining and manufacturing.

He said the Ministry of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment should work together with all line ministries which deal with economic sectors to ensure collective action in fulfilling the indigenisation programme.

The President also criticised the 2012 budget allocation for agriculture saying the sector should have been prioritised.
