Hospital tear gassed in Zvishavane

MDC-T vice president Nelson Chamisa has claimed that riot police in Zvishavane fired teargased a hospital on Sunday.

That was during chaos that engulfed the mining town.

Police blocked MDC-T from holding a rally.

"They fired teargas everywhere, even in hospitals" said Chamisa.

"Even travellers were not spared. What the police did was clear provocation".

"The actions by the police cannot be tolerated.

"These tactics threaten the credibility of the forthcoming elections. We have continued to witness the breakdown of rule of law in Zimbabwe".

Several people where injured during the commotion.
