A Harare woman Polite Cheura stunned a court after she produced panties belonging to her husband's lover in court as proof of infidelity.
Cheura said she caught her husband and Nyasha Madziro red handed making love in her matrimonial house.
She them grabbed her panties to keep as evidence.
"Your worship I caught Nyasha red handed at it with my husband at my place of residence and I took her panties which I have here with me and she took my wrapper (Zambia) as well," she told magistrate Yeukai Dzuda.
"I told her that I will return her panties if she gives me back my wrapper," she added.
Nyasha had applied for a peace order against Cheura.
Added Cheura "I am actually surprised that she has applied for a peace order against me because I have never insulted her, called her or visited her work place to insult her".
Cheura said she tried to solved issues with Nyasha but failed.
"I moved out of my house to stay with my sister for a while but now each time I go to my house she will be there so I do not know if this peace she is seeking is for hindering me from going to my house".
However, Nyasha said she is the one being abused.
"I have evidence to prove that this woman used to call me and send me messages but it is unfortunate that the phone which contains the evidence was taken by the owner".
After deliberations, Nyasha was granted the peace order.
