A resident in Mpopoma Bulawayo has sued a Trenance resident and the Bulawayo City Council over a botched house deal.
Elais Mutendi filed the summons at the Bulawayo High Court on November 4 citing Jabulani Joeni Chimanga and the BCC as first and second respondents respectively.
Mutendi submitted that on August 27 2015 he and Chimanga entered into an agreement of sale in terms of which Chimanga was to sell a house number 5502 Emganwini in Bulawayo for $5 600. He said he paid the full payment for the house.
Mutendi said he has since developed the house putting four rooms at the stand and was now seeking the ownership transfer with the seller of the house to no avail resulting to him approaching the court seeking an order compelling him to transfer the house to his name.
Council and Chimanga are yet to respond.
