Man bashed by sex worker

A 34-year old Mvurwi rank marshal is battling for life at Mvurwi hospital after he was bashed with a broken bottle by a commercial sex worker around midnight yesterday (Friday).

It is alleged Pasiinhamo Chikoti's mouth was sliced with a broken bottle by a hooker only identified as Josephine who is in her mid-20s.

Apparently Josephine is assisting police with investigations at Mvurwi police station.

Investigations by Bulawayo24.com proved that Chikoti was indecently assaulting Josie prompting her to act in a barbaric way, the two were said to be drunk.

According to an eyewitness Chikoti was picked at Mvurwi terminus by police who then went with him to the hospital.

"We saw Pasiinhamo being picked by police from where he was lying motionless in a pool of blood as a lot of blood gashed out from his mouth.

You do not look at him twice he was heavily assaulted and cut ,we do not know whether Josie was arrested or not as she varnished after committing the alleged crime, "said the source.

Meanwhile, cases of assaults are on the increase in Mvurwi area and police is yet to lanch awareness campaigns.
