Tsvangirai, Mujuru plot Mugabe's 2018 demise

Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai secretly met with former VP Joice Mujuru last week, raising fresh hopes among long-suffering Zimbabweans that the two will work together to end President Robert Mugabe and Zanu PF's misrule in the eagerly anticipated 2018 national elections.
Since Mujuru, who now leads the ZPF, joined hands with Tsvangirai and marched with him on the streets of Gweru in August this year in a rare public display of unity among the opposition, there have been growing calls by fed up citizens for the formation of a grand coalition alliance.
Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) leader Joice Mujuru is next week expected in Bulawayo to drum up support for her party's youth and women assemblies. Mujuru will be in Bulawayo on Sunday to address ZimPF's youth and women structures - two critical structures expected to bring the core of the party's supporters.
ZimPF interim chairperson for information and publicity committee, Methuseli Moyo told Southern Eye it will be foolhardy for the party to ignore the youth and women's constituencies that form the backbone of any formation, especially now when elections beckon. But PDP has accused ZimPF of using dirty tactics to lure its members, including its deputy president, Samuel Sipepa Nkomo, an allegation the latter denied.
