Mugabe arrives for Vic Falls Airport commissioning

President Robert Mugabe has arrived in Victoria Falls ahead of the commissioning of Victoria Falls International Airport scheduled for tomorrow.
He was met on arrival by Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko, the Minister of State for Matebeleland North Province Cde Cain Mathema, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Development Dr Joram Gumbo, service chiefs, Zanu PF members and other senior government officials.
Victoria Falls International Airport project was undertaken at a cost of US$150 million secured through China Exim Bank
The newly refurbished airport boasts of a new international terminal, refurbished domestic terminal, new 4 km long runway , new control tower and a new fire station.
