Brother in-law rapes grade six sister in-law

A man from Old Magwegwe in Bulawayo allegedly took advantage of his wife's absence to sneak into a grade six pupil who is his wife's young sister and raping her.

This was heard by the Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya when a man (32) who can not be named top protect the identity of the child appeared before him charged with rape.

He was remanded out of custody on $100 bail to November 30.

It is alleged that on January 25 this year the man's wife left him in the custody of her young sister who is doing grade six. When the girl was asleep in her blankets he allegedly sneaked into her blankets and raped her.

The matter came to light after an anonymous caller called Child line and reports the alleged sexual abuse of the child. Investigations led to the man's arrest.
