Lawyer and 40 arrested in Harare

Prominent lawyer Fadzayi Mahere has been arrested together with a dozen other anti-bond-notes activists in Harare's Africa Unity Square.

By lunchtime about 40 people had been nabbed, Bulawayo24.com heard.

Police reportedly rounded up everyone on site at Africa Unity Square.

On her Facebook page, Mahere had vowed to take part in the protests.
