The Minister of Health and Child Care Dr David Parirenyatwa says he is concerned about the delays in opening the Ekusileni Medical Centre a project that will benefit people in Bulawayo.

In an interview, Dr Parirenyatwa said a long legal wrangle on the ownership of Ekusileni has finally been resolved and new partners are set to start working on logistics to ensure it starts operating.

On the enhanced rural health care project that was launched in Ntabazinduna early this year, Dr Parirenyatwa said resources are being mobilized to ensure that Ntabazinduna Clinic is upgraded to offer better services.

On the ambulance that he had pledged for the clinic to service the densely populated area including the Xhosa community and resettlement areas, Dr Parirenyatwa said there is no consensus yet with the Umguza member of parliament Dr Obert Mpofu on where the ambulance must be based.
