Mthwakazi party blasts Chiyangwa

Mthwakazi Republic Party has said it the football in Zimbabwe is now being too much politicised by Zifa President Philip Chiyangwa.
"We believe they are not supposed to be politicise soccer. The emergency of a political failure and a controversial rich Zimbabwean Zifa body boss Chiyangwa was initially and is still a curse to the football of Zimbabwe. As I always put it Highlanders is not just a football club, but rather it is a political and social heritage and a significant symbol of Mthwakazi deemed freedom and a hope for a dreamed justice on injustices committed against our people," MRP secretary general Hloniphani Ncube said.
"President Robert Mugabe and his people chief among them on this matter Chiyangwa are aware of this. They are also aware of the fact that a decision passed against Highlanders is as good as a decision passed against the people of Mthwakazi."
He said the controversial dismissal of Ndumiso Gumede and Dube by ZIFA boss currently running a highly corrupt and highly degraded institution in the world is a shame to world football.
"As Mthwakazi Republic Party we view the decision as a pure implementation of the 1979 grand plan, an evil political policy of Zanu PF which started with Gukurahundi genocide," he said.
"We want our opinion as a political party to be registered that Chiyangwa just like Zanu PF they are provoking a serious war through their decisions that have subsequently been undertaken against the people of Mthwakazi. Our people are not happy and have lost confidence against the government of Zimbabwe. This would soon be proven to them and the entire world."
"We urge other progressive bodies participating in ensuring excellence in football administration to partner with us in condemning the corrupt Chiyangwa and also of abusing his power to fulfill his tribal appetites. We also urge the supporters of the huge football club of Mthwakazi to condemn this demon possessed Chiyangwa."
