No one vote for an old sleeping in public leader- Retired LT Colonel Mbudzi

THE Retired Lt. Colonel Kudzai Sevias Mbudzi who is also a former Zanu-PF official, a war veteran and an ex-military officer has said there is no one in his or her good mind would vote for an old and frail leader who sleeps in public during meetings like the 92 year old President Robert Mugabe.

Speaking at a Press club in Bulawayo on Saturday Mbudzi said there was a covenant between the people, the fore fathers and the departed comrades to liberate Zimbabwe from the bondage of oppression.

He said People First's objectives and values resonate with the founding revolutionary values and the freedom charter of Joshua Nkomo, Hebert Chitepo, Jason Ziyapapa Moyo, Magama Tongogara, Leopold Takawira and all the other freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of this county.

"Therefore we made a covenant with all these people to fully liberate this country and bring freedom to God's people to worship Him. You cannot go to a polling booth to vote for an old person who is always asleep, in a wheelchair, maybe in constant communication with the headmen in the other land," he said.

"How would you want to lead when you are the one being pulled in a wheelchair ? How do people stampede to glorify the person behind their own suffering ?  Patronage Shepherdiness Iron law of oligarchy who is the [problem in Zimbabwe?"

 He said as Robert Mugabe celebrates his 92 birthday, he must know that Zimbabwe is indeed suffering; is in dire stress requiring some urgent politico - economic surgical operation.

"He must be reminded (as he is unutterably foreign to the nature of the problems that we face on a day-to day basis) that Zimbabweans, as was with the people of Israel under Pharaoh, have now suffered enough," Mbudzi said.

"He must be reminded that we are not grateful at all for him to have in the first place been conceived by mbuya Bona 92 years ago; because that marked another century of the suffering of the people of Zimbabwe."

He said the much adored Mugabe of independence has now transformed himself into the Mugabe who is the source of people's much suffering today.

"ZANU PF can indeed testify today than removing Mai Mujuru and gamatoex was indeed not the solution. So Mai Mujuru was not the problem. The problem is still there. Some are now trying to wheel chair the problem. That is the problem. Our collective actions will get rid of sanctions in Zimbabwe," Mbudzi said.

"This old man is the sanctions ; if you get rid of this old man you would also eternally free Zimbabwe of any political and economic sanctions. So we have no sanctions in Zimbabwe we have no puppets, we have no gamatoex; we have mudhara uyu as the source of all our problems."

He said once people realise it, they are fully liberated.

"This should not be our problem because we are not responsible nokuchembera kwake. Grace must then confront munhu anochembedza murume wake than to fight with the whole world. The whole Zimbabwe haingatamburi nekuda kokuchembera kwe murume wake. All this talk about special wheel chair is a manifestation of a psychological defense mechanism to fight against the natural GOD given process yokuchembedza vanhu vake," Mbudzi said.

" PROGRESS WITHIN PEOPLE FIRST We have now openly abandoned Mugabe for being too old at 92 , for senility, for this continued irreversible deterioration of intellectual ability of dementia, and delusions of a grandeur; for a younger driver; who is motherly doesn't drink or never took anything intoxicating in her entire life; Mai Mujuru. Mai Mujuru then vows to achieve the objectives of the struggle for freedom and liberation."

He said if  people are going for a club tournament and the driver starts dozing off, the journey can not be abandoned but they drop him off if he refuses to be relieved and continue with the journey.

"Coupe-de-maine operation We then abandon the leader and continue with the revolutionary journey of our struggle. Joyce Mujuru is then our sure hope and wish. If you want to remember and give praise to the works of Joshua Nkomo, if you want to remember Jason Ziyapapa MoyoJosiah Tongogara: give undaunted support to PF and Mai Mujuru," he said.

Mbudzi said there is an influx of supporters at all levels from other parties to People First. Profile of new members ZANU PF, MDC T, new members previously not affiliated, RDC, ZAPU, MKD etc there is a need for all from all walks of life including Cde Wadyejena and Mutsvangwa.

"They also need liberation. They also need to be freed and liberated from the yoke of ZANU PF. All must come : vanombodei ku Party isiriyavo? We do not mind they once bad mouthed Mai Mujuru, that's what happens in a revolution; kana hondo yorusununguko yamborema. People start attributing blame for their problems to wrong causative factors – until full consciousness of the real cause of their suffering sets up and is achieved," he said.

"As full reflective consciousness is achieved, people then realize that the problem is not Mai Mujuru, it's not gamatoex its not Wadyejena, it is not Tsvangirai, it is not Mutsvangwa - but its mudhara uyu. So once you have removed mudhara uyu, you have removed the root cause of your problems. Mai Mujuru always emphasize the inclusivity principle and nature of PF."

He said  Mai Mujuru met and addressed grassroots to provincial structures for Masvingo, Mash West, Mash east, Manicaland, and Harare.
"Main purpose for Mai Mujuru assures the people that indeed she is custodial to the formation of People First and refute allegations that she might go back to ZANU PF. The new Party will be launched next year when we are ready," said Mbudzi.
