Zimbabwe government inciting violent struggle in Matabeleland

MLO Supreme Council condemns in all strongest terms the arrest of MRP leaders including their President Mqondisi Moyo in Lupane on 14 December 2016. We demand their immediate release.
The continued abuse of Matabeleland restoration leaders and the people of Matabeleland in general through prosecution, dehuminisation and marginalisation will not stop an idea which is overdue.
We note with great concern that if it is not the President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, blaming Matabeles of having low education and being knife carrying criminals who commit crimes in the neighbouring countries, it is his wife Grace Mugabe accusing men of Matabeleland of being lazy sex pests, or his spokesman George Charamba spewing tribal vitriol and hate through state newspapers. On one hand ZRP and CIO are on the ground banning Matabeleland genocide commemoration events harassing, intimidating and arresting Matabeleland restoration leaders and parents who are demanding the best education for their children based on trumped up charges.
The situation is now reminiscent to that in the 1980s when Matebele leaders were imprisoned, hate speeches and slogans like 'pasi nemaNdeere!" (Down with Ndebeles) and "Nkomo must be hanged, he must die in exile" were shouted right across Mashonaland.
Till when will Matebeles keep on giving another chick? John F. Kennedy had good advice for those who suppress peaceful struggle. He once said, "those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable".
What must people of Matabeleland do? We have been subjected to all kinds of evil and human rights abuse. We have seen our leaders being arrested and persecuted through prosecution and some unlucky ones like Lookout Masuku, Sydney Malunga and Mthandazo Ndema Ngwenya died under controversial circumstances. Unarmed civilians and children were not spared they were killed in the most painful manner, even the animals are not killed that way.
The President of MLO Cde Paul Siwela, John Gazi and Charles Thomas were also arrested and charged with treason for advocating the restoration of Matabeleland. Cde Paul Siwela was forced into exile when state agents were after his life. Today it is Cde Mqondisi Moyo and others. Who is next? And for how long are we going to keep on giving another chick? MLO Supreme Council thinks 36 years of suffering under oppression is ENOUGH.
Enough is enough!
