Zimbabwean woman crowned New Miss Intercultural in Miami Beach, Florida

Elizabeth Chitseko - Hailing From Zimbabwe and living in Tulsa, Oklahoma crowned New Miss Intercultural in Miami Beach, Florida, USA
On June 27, 2012, six beautiful women arrived in Miami Beach to embark on the journey of becoming the next Miss Intercultural.
The delegates in the pageant hailed from Ghana, Malawi, Pakistan, USA, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Under the theme "True beauty of a Queen", Cammepa Productions LLC welcomed the contestants to Miami Beach by participating as volunteers in Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce INCard event, which main focus is to boost the economy of Miami Beach by giving business owners an opportunity to promote their products to over 1,000 individuals.
The contestants assisted in set up and clean up for the event. They also participated in raffling the giveaways. Miss Intercultural 2010/2011, Kaya Chipungu, invited businesses and attendees to the 2012 Miss Intercultural Pageant. Contestants were given the opportunity to network with business owners at the event.
One of the highlights of the Miss Intercultural Pageant week was meeting Vice Mayor/Commissioner the honorable Jerry Libbin. Honorable Libbin officially welcomed the contestants to the Miami Beach City Hall. He congratulated Cammepa Productions and the 2012 Miss Intercultural Pageant contestants on the tenacity to ensure that the Miss Intercultural Pageant is a success. The contestants received a tour of Miami Beach City Hall and photo opportunities with several staff members, including other commissioners.
From the all American breakfast to Cuban and Brazilian Cuisines, the contestants truly experienced the taste of Miami Beach. Gracing the lounge of Loews Hotel, where they attended the Latin Chamber of Commerce business-networking event and dancing the night away on the Island Queen Cruise was a typical day for the contestants.
The Contestants had the opportunity to showcase their photogenic abilities during a photo shoot with Palava Hut at The Miami Beach Botanical Gardens.
The Miss Intercultural Pageant week was concluded with the final competition. The main pageant was held at the Colony Theater in Miami Beach, Florida on Saturday, June 30, 2012. During the event, Commissioner Jorge Exposito, presented the Proclamation to Cammepa Productions, LLC officially welcoming and declaring Miami Beach, Florida as the home of the Miss Intercultural Pageant. At the end of the night, Elizabeth Chitseko of Zimbabwe was crowned Miss Intercultural 2012.
