MDC-T joins the nation in mourning Adam Ndlovu

The MDC-T has learnt with great shock and sorrow over the untimely death of Adam Ndlovu, the former Zimbabwe national football player on Sunday morning in Victoria Falls. The MDC-T also wishes a speedy recovery to Peter Ndlovu who was travelling with Adam when the tragic accident.
It is with regret that Adam passed on when he was involved full time as a coach which saw him leading Chicken Inn to a third place in the Premiership race in the 2012 season. The MDC-T joins the nation in mourning Adam and conveys its condolences to the Ndlovu family and the people of Zimbabwe.
We will remember Adam for giving glory to Zimbabwe as part of the Dream Team playing in the 1994 World Cup final qualifiers. However, as we mourn Adam, it is also high time that the government seriously looks into the state of our roads, for the police to ensure that all the vehicles on our roads are roadworthy and drivers are adhering to road safety rules all the time especially when we are approaching the festive holiday next week.
Our roads have become highways of death.
There is an urgent need for the government to fully implement the dual carriageway on all highways as this will go a long way in improving and making sure that our roads are safe.
The MDC-T recognises road safety as a priority in the quest to build a safe and secure nation based on the effective enforcement of traffic laws, road safety education, better driving training and licensing, and a reduction in incidents of drunken driving.
