Plumtree residents yesterday
rejected new by-laws that were introduced without consultation by their town
council for 2014
The laws include:
(1) If you have a domestic pet (dog) you should licence it, licence costs $10 per dog.
(2) Land cultivation - Residents are not allowed to cultivate land without the approval from council.
(3) Access to firewood - Resident
are not allowed to touch any tree inside or outside your home.
(4) Residents are not allowed to cut grass in front of their yards without the approval of council.
Residents yesterday rejected all the above laws, the main reason is that they were done without any consultation of residents.
The residents tasked the Residence Association to go and imform the town council that they are totally against them and they reject the laws before they take any action.
