ZAPU is organising its very first protest march in London since its revival. The march is going to be on the 16th August 2014 at the Zimbabwe Embassy.

When ZAPU was revived in 2008 its core values were predicated on its liberation values and human rights. The liberation struggle was all about equitable and just distribution of land. ZAPU acknowledged that land belonged to all the citizens of land, regardless of their political affiliation, race or tribe. For this noble goal ZAPU was prepared to pay the ultimate sacrifice hence the waging of a successful liberation war. ZAPU envisioned a nation of equals, a nation where everyone would be empowered, hence its core revolutionary slogan ‘power to the people'. These were ZAPU's values then and are still its core values today; it is the reason why ZAPU is still prepared to pay the ultimate price in order to ensure that devolution of power is not only included in the constitution of Zimbabwe but is also fully implemented.

The ZANU PF supporters have of late been busy invading farms willy-nilly, using flimsy and useless reasons such as that the farms were underutilised. It should be made very clear that these invasions are indiscriminate. White people are losing farms and so are Black people. The underlying thread is that as long as you are not ZANU PF you are in danger of losing your land and / or property. ZAPU will be fighting injustices perpetrated against all Zimbabweans, regardless of colour. ZAPU believes that white people have a sovereign right to be full citizens of the country as long as they meet the criteria as set out in the constitution of Zimbabwe and they have all the rights to own land. ZAPU regard racism as evil, it regards tribalism as evil, and these are, among other things, the twin evils that the current ruling party is known for. ZAPU will obliterate this divisive ideology and build a new political dispensation which is accommodative and not extreme, a political order which respects the rights of all the citizens.

On the 5th August 2014, ZANU PF supporters crossed the line by invading the farm of the highly decorated liberation hero, Dr Dumiso Dabengwa the current leader of ZAPU. This was the second time this has happened in a short space of time. ZANU PF has publicly dissociated itself from these rogue elements but we all know ZANU PF's methods of operation, they plan behind closed doors, in dark alleys and execute their plans in full public glare but always dissociate themselves from such actions. What happened to the rule of law? What happened to private property rights? What happened to human rights? ZAPU will change all this and reset the button to normalcy, a state where all citizen will have rights to own land and be protected by law equally.

ZAPU is extending a revolutionary invite to all peace loving and law abiding peoples of the world to congregate on Saturday the 16th August 2014 at the Zimbabwe Embassy in Central London to protest these senseless land invasions and other human rights abuses by the rogue regime.

When ZAPU assumes power, a land audit will be instituted. If anybody is found to have benefited unfairly from the land redistribution exercise, the process of repossession will be initiated to address inequities.

For the very first time ZAPU's anger which has been building up over the years through humiliation, persecution, ostracism, vilification and dehumanisation will be witnessed in London in full force. The ZAPU machinery is going out in full force to express its displeasure and disapproval of land invasions and other human rights abuses. This will surely be the turning point, a point of no return.
