The Zimbabwe's Independent Democrats, or ZIM-ID (SA-Team Diaspora), the ZSP Permits Forum and the Community of Zimbabwe Diasporans in South Africa (CZD-SA) would like to collectively express their deepest and heartfelt condolences to Min. Malusi Gigaba following the sad and untimely death of his father, Rev Jabulani Gigaba on the 1st December 2014.
We also extend the same heartfelt message and indeed share the pain with Min. Gigaba's own family, close relatives, ANC colleagues, friends, workmates, and all South Africans in general. To us as his fellow Africans from Zimbabwe we have indeed also lost another fatherly figure and spiritual leader who groomed such a competent and principled Minister in Mr Malusi Gigaba who keeps espousing critical values of Ubuntu for the benefit of all of us.
The Minister has been such a joy to work with in addressing most of our issues of concern as his African brothers and sisters in a very dignified manner, which to us also speaks of a proper upbringing within a responsible family wherein the late Rev J Gigaba was its head. It would be very unAfrican, to say the least, for us to ignore this sad moment largely as Zimbabweans since the loss of any human soul under whatever circumstances also deserves our significant attention and demands our support or contribution in whichever means possible.
We take note that Rev J Gigaba was such an inspiring spiritual leader within the Christian faith community, and we encourage his fellow brethren to hold firm to the faith of Jesus they shared with him. We hope the immediate community will find good reasons to emulate the way of life of the Gigaba family, and make it Rev Gigaba's legacy which we know can help make South Africa, Africa and the world a better place to live as practiced in one family set-up at a time.
We also pray the God in heaven to intervene and comfort so many human hearts in pain due to the passing on of the Reverend, especially during this very sad moment of bereavement. May God who understands the mystery of death better than anyone continue to inspire much needed hope for the future without the late Rev J Gigaba in all our lives, moreso the close family that survives him which amongst them counts Min. Malusi Gigaba.
This collective condolence message is from Ldr. GIFT EGLONE on behalf of ZIM-ID Leadership and a close oversight leadership capacity in the CZD (SA) as well as in association with ZSP Permits Forum.
