The MDC-T in South Africa is engaging the exiled Zimbabwean community in South Africa under a robust and dynamic basket of programmes amongst them being "OPERATION VHUSERERE/UMVUSELELO/REVIVAL" which is being spearheaded by the only district female organising secretary, Precious Mutete in Pretoria.
Addressing several Zimbabweans in Sprait Township about thirty kilometres from Pretoria Chairman Tangai Marufu expressed confidence and pledged his support to the district organising team that has since launched the programme two weeks ago in Soshanguve. The full district executive including the Pound Tambo led Youth Assembly attended and partook in the massive door to door recruitment drive which saw a Saul - Paul conversion count of two hundred and sixty three people joining the party as confirmed by the district secretary Lameck Chiyaka.
Deputy Provincial Chairman Stanley Mutambiranwa and Provincial Secretary Rainos Tivatye graced the event and encourage the unity of purpose displayed by the district leadership. The generality of the Zimbabwean community expressed gratitude and committed themselves to jealously guard their new found political faith. In their own words, many admitted to have nicodimously followed and believed in President Tsvangirai but were now happy to be formal members of the party of excellence.
