ZAPU invades Luveve Constituency

Dr Dumiso Dabengwa led a strong Campaign Team in Luveve where Mr Amon Nyamabi Dube is contesting on ZAPU ticket for the Parliamentary by-elections to be held on the 10th June 2016.

Whilst the Devolution of power message won many hearts, what really excited people was the ZAPU message which says 'keep Zanu-PF out of Bulawayo', and the Youths were vibrant and they were heard singing 'kick ZANU out of Bulawayo'.

Speaking to the journalists at the campaign trail in Luveve, Dr Dabengwa said that ZAPU could not afford to donate seats to Zanu-PF particularly in Bulawayo.

"we have a big chance of winning all the seats in Bulawayo, Zanu-PF is a carcass, no Party or individual can lose against Zanu-PF and ZAPU will not lose against Zanu-PF," Dr Dabengwa said.

"We are not being carelessly overconfident or complacent, we have done our research and we are going out in full force to show up our support," Dr Dabengwa continued.

Mr Amon Nyamambi Dube who is so popular in his constituency is expected to win in Luveve.

He was also on the campaign trail, but he had one or two minutes to talk to us, this is what he had to say "We are retracing our steps, we are going back to our roots and our roots are our supporters, that is where our strength lies," Mr Nyamambi philosophised.

"We all along knew that ZAPU is a sleeping giant, but we were astounded today, the positive response that the people of Luveve gave us was just amazingly unbelievable"  Mr Nyamambi said.
