PDP notes the gazetting of Nkulumane Constituency by-election date by President Mugabe

Noting the undemocratic and unorthodox political culture of silencing opposing voices through abductions and intimidation which ZANU PF continues to implement.

Realising that the ZANU PF gvt has refused to implement electoral demands which include availability of Electronic voters roll and Biometric voters roll that we have been calling for as an opposition movement.

Cognisant of the bullish and demonic attacks on the private media by George Charamba Robert Mugabe and Grace Mugabe;

We therefore have decided to distance ourselves from participating in this sham by-election whose playing field is not level and the muzzling of the media and lack of electoral reforms have already set a premeditation for the outcome of the by election.

We are promising the people of Zimbabwe that we will neither sleep nor slumber but we will take the draconian Mugabe regime head on till we implement ARREST  that shall guarantee fair and free elections has been implemented.
