Sangano Madzimbahwe a Zimbabwean Civic organisation based in South Africa is appealing to War veterans to utilise the opportunity that they have when they meet the President on Thursday. We expect fireworks, no stone should be left unturned in highlighting the major issues at stake. Our country Zimbabwe was born out of blood and so much sacrifice, which should not be taken for granted.
Zanu pf, a revolutionary party that represents the interests of African people is on the verge of collapse because of some wolves who are coming in sheep skins. We need our country back, we need our independence back and we need our President back. We believe Cde RG Mugabe's legacy and that of war veterans is now at stake. The very same people who were the enemies of the struggle are now on the fo front chanting anti war veterans songs. Some group of hooligans who are calling themselves G40 are taking advantage of dilapidated state of the President, pretending to protect HE yet strategically positioning themselves for a kill. Even a blind person can see the drama that these hungry wolves are playing. We say enough, and we stand with our Liberation leaders, who sacrificed families, education and their happiness for the sake of our motherland.
We have confidence in our war veterans, that this time they will go deeper, and call a spade by its name. There are no oranges that are better oranges than the other ones. Our President is a war veteran just like Leader Mutsvangwa and Cde Mahiya. He is not more than all those who are called by the same name. Our war veterans have experience in the struggle and after independence. They surely care about their baby Zanu pf, whom the carried through thick and thin "zvichirwadza- zvichirema" . No mother will leave their babies to the wolves no matter the conditions.
Our President should address his fellow comrades with respect. We have some cases where the youths and some women are blasting war veterans and even the VP Mnangagwa without any rebuke. We will not accept such kind of behaviour. VP Mphoko was chanting tribal slogans and songs and the first family danced like David in the Bible, What's that? The President, if his respect should remain, must discipline without favour. Zanu pf is a people 's party, not a family party.
The succession issue must be addressed, as this will bring an end to Vote of No confidence. We say no to wolves and serpents that want to run away with our economy and our struggle. Aluta continua.
