ZAPU (RSA) Distances itself from act of violence

ZAPU (RSA) states here that it did not have anything or got involved in the act of violence and intimidation that saw George Mkhwanazi attacked over the weekend in Johannesburg.
ZAPU in all its structures, branches, districts, provinces and regions worldwide abhors and strongly denounce any form of violence and intimidation, segregation and any isms by its members to anyone, member or non member and all citizenry at large.
We unreservedly uphold the sanctity of life, freedom of association, freedom of expression of all individuals regardless of political affiliation or belief. Our mandate as a revered and respected political organization whose unequalled hallmark of operations are respect for human dignity, freedom, transparency and freedom before and after speech is to empower the people of Zimbabwe anywhere in the world to realize such ideals, hence we do not condone violence in any form to anyone including members of different political convictions from us.
Hence the Mkwanazi attack is viewed by us as an unfortunate incident and does not have whatsoever undertones of our involvement or condonation. We are a political organization that does not owe our political convictions, ideals, and ideology to anyone and we are not apologetic about what we stand for. No violence, intimidation or political name calling or derogatory statements to anyone but advance our without fear our policies – devolution of power, proportional representation, respect for human rights and dignity as well as freedom of speech and freedom association.
