Man in $7 500 house deal fraud

A Man from Lobengula West in Bulawayo is in trouble after he swindled his employer of $7 500 in a house buying deal.

Farai Muzanenhamo (30) was not asked to plead fraud charge when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Adeline Mbeure. The magistrate remanded him to December 1 for trial.

The court was told that the accused was employed by Christine Chichera as his manager and he gave him money to buy a residential stand in Cowdray Park . The accused bought the stand and the complainant funded the construction of two rooms.

The accused then sold the two rooms to Daughter Mpofu for $7500. The complainant discovered the scam and reported the matter to the police leading to his arrest.
