A 32-YEAR-OLD Gweru woman was last week arrested after she misdirected her sexual desires and turned her 19-year-old brother who had visited her from their rural areas into a sexual partner for close to three months.

The complainant who is a blood brother to the alleged abuser had visited the city from Lower Gweru to look for a job.

The job seeking 19-year-old man was allegedly turned into a sex object by his sister who was renting a single room in Ridgemond suburb which the two were sharing.

After having endured three months of sexual abuse from his sister the man later opened up to his girlfriend who quickly filed an aggravated indecent assault report against her lover's sister to the police at Gweru Central. The 32-year-old woman was on Wednesday last week arraigned before Gweru magistrate, Ms Florence Nago, to answer charges of aggravated indecent assault.

She was not asked to plead and was remanded out of custody to 13 December on US$100 bail.

The accused woman was also asked to remain at her lodgings in Ridgemond suburb and not to interfere with state witnesses as part of her bail conditions.

For the state, Mr Michael Mhene, said on an unknown date, but between October and December last year, the complainant who is from Lower Gweru under Chief Sogwala travelled to Gweru where he intended to look for a job.

Mr Mhene said while in Gweru the complainant went to Ridgemond suburb where he then stayed with his accused sister who was renting one room.

The court heard that the accused later forced her brother to have sexual intercourse with her on numerous occasions during the night.

Mr Mhene said the sexual abuse on the brother by his accused sister occurred several times until the complainant later got employment and moved out of his sister's one room.

The court heard that the complainant then recently opened up to his girlfriend and told her of his experiences at the hands of his sister.

The complainant's girlfriend then reported the matter to the police leading to the arrest of the accused woman last week.
