Duo attacks bar reveler with knobkerrie and knives

Two men allegedly attacked a reveler from Pioneer Block in Fort Rixon with knife and knobkerrie in a dispute over unspecified issue recently.
This was heard by Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashya when Thembelani Mali (26) and Dalimpilo Nyiliba (19) appeared before him charged with assault.
The court was told that Ocean Mpofu was drinking beer at Pioneer block section in Fort Rixon business centre on July 30 when he was attacked by the two with a knife and a knobkerrie before they could run away.
It is alleged that they left him seriously injured and a colleague reported the assault to the police leading to the two's arrest.
