Mthwakazi Republic Party President Mqondisi Moyo and his lieutenants, spent the weekend in Plumtree particularly Bulilima East constituency where they addressed scores of villagers.

Other senior members present including the Party's Organizing Secretary Cde Colman Khanye, Secretary General Ackim Mhlanga, deputy Secretary for security Nkanyiso Ngulube, Secretary for Information and publicity Mbonisi Gumbo,MRP women's representative Ms Mguni, Matabeleland South deputy chairman Clearance Ndlovu, Matabeleland North chairman Prince Moyo, Lidya Ncube bulawayo provincial organizing secretary, and several party's candidates, among other provincial executive members.

Four successful rallies were held starting from Mlomwe business centre in Ward 3, in the morning on Saturday, and it was followed by another one at Tshakwa business centre in Ward 1. We held another one at Gambu business centre Ward 5 and lastly Bhagani business centre in Ward 21.

In between the distances we had a privilege to go around giving out fliers to our people while preaching the gospel of self-determination to our people. Thousands attended our rallies especially at Gambu and Bhagani where the attendance was overwhelming.

Some people in Plumtree boldly stated that Ian Smith's colonial rule was far much better than Mugabe's current iron fist Rule.

President Robert Gabriel Mugabe and his government have done nothing for us, he has only succeeded in his Gukurahundi genocide mission, other than that there has not been any development attributed to him or his government in Matabeleland.

"Most of the infrastructure we have was built by the Smith regime. The only known thing he has done is genocide, displacement of our people to South Africa and Botswana, as well as intimidating our people. We have several border posts here in Plumtree, we also have irrigation schemes as well as gold mines, and government departments here. But the infrastructure we have does not reflect that we are a rich district interms of natural resources. There is no infrastructural development to talk about, let alone employment opportunities for our people," said MRP.

"We have no clinics, no roads, our schools are far apart and our people are not employed in those places, only Shona people are benefiting according to the 1979 Shona grand plan," said a businessman in the area in a briefing before the rally. He went on to say that children at Matjinge primary school from grade four to seven are being taught Shona poems.

Ackim Mhlanga the party's SG, told villagers that there is no need for their children to be based in South Africa, being illegal immigrants in Botswana and South Africa leaving miserable lives there, because Mthwakazi has the capacity to employ all of them home if only we achieve self-determination.

The people's revolutionary party's organizing secretary Colmen Khanye, noted that the people of Bukalanga have been initiating own developments in their areas while the government did nothing to complement them. But was quick to point out that as MRP working together with our people in unity we shall conquer the evil grand plan.

MRP President assured Bakalanga that MRP will do its best to protect, promote and defend Mthwakazi.

"We need your support Mthwakazi omuhle. May you please register to Vote and Vote Team MRP. We now want local MPs and councillors from Team MRP no more ZANU and MDC-T stooges, we want people with Matabeleland at heart. Some of the people that you have been voting before may have been our people yet they will never deliver according to your expectations simple because they belong to the wrong political parties that have the same motive to destroy Mthwakazi..." said Moyo.

"We now want Councillors and Parliamentarians that have people at heart, people that will stand for our people and by the people without fear or any compromise."

Bukalanga people said that they were impressed by the party's message of hope being preached by MRP. They said they will support the party's initiative by whatever they have including their precious votes. Even though the whole of Matabeleland South was fraudulently won by ZANU, the evil party has done nothing to help the poor communities here, the ZANU and MDC-T MPs and Councillors have failed the people. Some of the MPs have never spoken a single word in Parliament.

ZANU PF is only known for giving people expired rice from China, some funny torches, small packages of maize seeds since its a party of vote buying. We have told our people to freely collect whatever ZANU PF brings to them, because its their money but never forget to vote Team MRP.

At our last meeting at Bhagani business centre ZRP police came with police dogs and we suspect that the police had come to intimidate and to provoke us, we then saw them getting into a Shop belonging to a Shona guy as we were about to finish and the businessman opened his radio full blast specifically to disrupt our rally. We also saw some ZANU PF youths coming as well but they noticed we had more than enough youths to fight back and they back off.

At Gambu business centre for example an MDC-T loosing parliamentary candidate in 2013 known as Nje 'mnyama who is eying the same constituency made a fool of himself when he publicly cried that MRP has came to disturb him after he came during our rally and so big crowd of people bravely seated to listen to Mthwakazi message of hope. Nje'mnyama have of late been failing to gather even 10 people and he is suspected to be working with CIO since he is also a driver at ZEC.

Finally we would like to encourage our people to go and register and VOTE TEAM MRP to makesure our cause for Mthwakazi's self-determination is on cause. We assure you that it is a delibarate lie by ZANU PF people to go around our rural districts intimidating our people that the BVR mechines have a capacity to detect who people have voted for.
