Former Zimbabwean Finance Minister Tendai Biti has vowed that thousands will turn out to denounce President Mugabe for the first time and warned all political leaders not to try and own the mass drawing an example from the 93 - year old President.
"No doubt that today will see the biggest voluntary physical out pour against President Robert Mugabe. History will be made & thousands will turn up.
"It did not have to end up this way. No one owns our people and NO ONE should ever want to own our people again," he tweeted.
Meanwhile, many followers urged him to become a Finance Minister if a unity government is anything to go by.
"Be e finance Minister again and do your magic," tweeted the source.
"Yes be a finance minister again. l am pained too much suffering. No work and no money from the bank only coins that come out once in the blue moon .
"Pliz reduce perdiems of incoming executives no more millions going out. Bring back cash stashed in offshore accounts pliz," responded Brenda Dube.
