Filabusi man shot dead in his home

A Filabusi man (31), Makesure Jose was on Tuesday night shot dead by an unknown assailant under unclear circumstances a few minutes after getting to his house.
Matabeleland South provincial police spokesperson Sergeant Loveness Mangena, said they have since launched full scale investigations into the matter. She said the incident occurred at around 11pm at Marvel Compound.
Preliminary investigations reveal that on the fateful day the now deceased arrived at his home where he parked his car and entered the house.
A few minutes later he went outside where he was shot four times by an unknown assailant.
He was shot in the head, shoulder, pelvis and ribs.
On hearing the gunshots, his wife locked all the doors and went out through the window to seek refuge at a neighbour's house.
A report was made to the police who rushed to the scene and found Jose lying dead and took the body to Filabusi Hospital mortuary.
