Matabeleland South Provincial Administrator has died

Matabeleland South provincial administrator David Mpofu has died. Mpofu died last night due to wounds he sustained  in a car accident two weeks ago. Mpofu was involved in an accident while coming from his farm alone.

The car rolled several times after it burst its left rear type.  Posting on his tweet account Gwanda Mayor Lionel  De Nenecker wrote this morning "woke up to sad news today provincial administrator Mr David Mpofu is late he died last night."

He added "last time i saw him he was very ill but was shocked to hear that he refused to be driven against advice from family."
